That Time of Year... to Give and Volunteer!

It’s that holiday time of year and there’s no better way to spread cheer, than to give and to volunteer!  We’ll be posting more info soon to help pinpoint ways of finding local charities that would love to have some extra hands around to help.

 In the meantime, a web search with keywords of preferred town name or zip, along with the holiday or date and the word “volunteer” will surely yield a myriad of options. 

Coming up, we’ve got Thanksgiving, then “Giving Tuesday” on the following Tuesday (Dec 3 this year here in USA).  Many local post offices accept canned food donations to pass along to charities  at this time of year.  

Other options are reaching out to local homeless shelters, American Legion Posts, local organizations galore exist out there, it’s just a quick search away.  

Just a few hours of your time will mean the world to others who’d be more than grateful for some happy energy and smiles during these holiday times.
